I'm an Engineering Manager in payments, currently leading the teams behind Netbanking, Wallets, TokenHQ, and MandateHQ at Razorpay. My work sits where reliability matters most: payment infrastructure that has to stay correct, available, and compliant while it scales.
Over 14 years I've moved from writing real-time card authorization and ISO-8583 switching systems to architecting payment platforms and, today, building the organization that delivers them. I scaled a payments engineering squad from 2 to 14 engineers — owning hiring, onboarding, mentoring, career tracks, and performance calibration.
I care about system boundaries that let teams ship independently, observability that turns incidents into fast recoveries, and connecting engineering work to measurable outcomes. Having delivered RBI-compliant banking systems and worked across tokenization and e-mandate mandates, I'm comfortable operating in tightly regulated, high-stakes environments.
More recently I've been applying GenAI to engineering itself — building agentic systems on LangChain and MCP tooling that automate parts of the SDLC and operational reporting, grounded with RAG over runbooks, API specs, and incident history, and evaluating open-source LLaMA models against hosted LLMs on accuracy, latency, cost, and data residency.
